Taylor County Emergency Squad strives to provide immediate and professional EMS services to the citizens and visitors to Taylor County. We provide 24/7 emergency services year round.
Taylor County Emergency Squad (TCES) was established in 1961 by a dedicated group of community leaders and citizens. TCES was the first established emergency squad in the State of West Virginia. Throughout the years TCES has continued to grow to meet the needs of the communities we serve. TCES is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. TCES serves as the primary 9-1-1 response agency for all communities in Taylor County, with the exception of the Flemington area. Taylor County Emergency Squad also provides non-emergent transport to Taylor County and surrounding areas. TCES has strong ties to our community and can be seen at numerous community events throughout the year. TCES responds to over 3,000 emergencies, inter hospital/non emergent transports, standbys and mutual aid calls every year.
TCES boasts a dedicated team of 30 highly skilled EMTs and Paramedics, tirelessly committed to their crucial roles during 12–24-hour shifts. Ready for action at a moment's notice, they exemplify unwavering professionalism and expertise. Their unwavering dedication and expertise stand as a testament to their commitment to the citizens and visitors of Taylor County and beyond. TCES is governed by a board of directors, consisting of community leaders and citizen representation.
